SSCR are delighted to announce their involvement in Arable Scotland, a brand new event for the Scottish arable industry. The event is a partnership of the James Hutton Institute, Scotland's Rural College and AHDB and is supported by SEFARI, Farm Advisory Service and the Scottish Farmer. The Society joins H L Hutchinson Ltd as event sponsors.
Given our primary interest in crop production, we will specifically sponsor the tours of the Centre for Sustainable Cropping Platform. It looks to be a very interesting and relevant event for the industry offering field plots, indoor and outdoor displays and "Arable Conversations". This is a very collaborative event and we encourage all sectors of the industry from breeders to end users to attend.
