The Society's AGM was held at SCRI on Tuesday 27 May 2008. It was followed by the Invited SSCR Lecture which was given by Professor Ian Crute, Director of Rothamsted Research, who gave the invited SSCR Lecture entitled, "Science and the Land-based Industries in a Changing Environment".
