There was a good turnout for the 2012 Scottish Society for Crop Research Annual Lecture, which was given by Mr Michael Hamell, Head of Unit, Agriculture, Forests and Soil, Environment Directorate-General, European Commission.
His talk “Environmental challenges – is sustainable agriculture possible?” was followed by a lively Q&A session.
The lecture took place on Monday 11 June at the West Park Conference Centre, Perth Road, Dundee following the SSCR AGM. Photographs from the event can be seen here.
