Wednesday 29 May in the new seminar room at the Invergowrie campus from 1.30 pm.
This year our guest speaker is Professor David Powlson who is Lawes Trust Senior Fellow in the Sustainable Soils and Crops department at Rothamsted Research and also a Visiting Professor in Soil Science at the University or Reading.
His talk is titled “Sequestering carbon in arable soils – not as easy as you thing, but good for soil health”. The talk will sure to be of interest to many of you and stimulate a good discussion around this area of research.
We will also have researchers from The James Hutton Institute who have worked in this area and if we can persuade them maybe we could have a panel discussion. So please feel free to send in questions.
More details will follow in the next few weeks.
