The Scottish Society for Crop Research (SSCR) held their Combinable and Energy Crops Winter Meeting at the James Hutton Institute, Invergowrie on Tuesday 6 March 2018. This year the focus was on some of the findings for the first 6 year crop rotation of the Centre for Sustainable Cropping. Considering the impact the "Beast from the East" had on everyone in the country, and the heavy snowfall that morning, attendance was quite high with 43 attendees (about average for this meeting). There was a huge amount of interest from attendees in seeing the presentations afterwards as there was a lot of data presented and talked about at the meeting.
